Why did you choose to work in the NHS?

So I could improve the health of others.

Describe what you do in 100 words

I look after the acute and chronic health needs and promote healthy living to the local population where I grew up and still live today.

How would you describe the NHS in one word?


If you could give the NHS any 70th birthday present what would it be?

To still be looking after everyone that needs it in another 70 years.

What advice would you give to someone who was thinking about working in the NHS?

It’s hard work, but the sense of team spirit is amazing and no two days are ever the same!
